PRIORITISATION OF NEW LEADS
Lenders frequently receive speculative inquiries from smaller retailers who may be testing the market or anticipating the loss of funding from an existing lender. Lenders sometimes cannot follow up on all these leads. We can work with these potential customers to prioritise where the lender should direct their attention.
We can visit retailers and ask the right questions so that lenders can be confident that there are no undue risks in the retailer business model which would prevent the retailer being taken on as a client.
DUE DILIGENCE
We can also do more detailed work on behalf of lenders to ensure that retailers have adequate systems and controls in relation to their credit broking responsibilities. This can be as a precursor to the signing of a contract and will save the lender a lot of legal time and cost.
AD-HOC REVIEWS
We can assist lenders in doing specific reviews where there has been an event at a retailer which could jeopardise the validity of the contract or the use of the lenders IT system.
MYSTERY SHOPPING
We can also arrange for retailers to be mystery shopped as a one-off exercise or as a regular part of oversight and monitoring.
